The benefits are many. Tofu is a vital source of protein, especially for vegetarian. It is the only food item that has all the eight different types of amino-acids. Key minerals such as calcium and potassium are found in tofu. The beans have no cholesterol and fat content. High level of lecithin is found in soy beans, ideal for healthy skin.

The best way is to eat it fresh with a dish of olive oil and soya sauce. Tofu can be blended into dippings to replace dairy products like cheese, yoghurt or cream. Tofu can be added to soups and stews. Firm tofu can be sautéed or deep-fried served with a variety of sauces. Tofu together with finely-diced or julienne of vegetables make delicious patties and fritters.

Q: How long can this tofu be kept if it is unopened?

Our tofu products are pasteurized hence a longer shelf life. Under refrigerated conditions, the minimum shelf life is 2 months.

Q: How long will it last once opened?

Place the remains tofu in a container filled with cold water, keep refrigerated, refresh the water every day, and it should last for at least 3 days.
